Prior to joining AECOM, his most recent focus was driving Digital Transit for Siemens Mobility, where he led a team of data scientists and domain experts to co-create innovations for U.S. rail operators using a cloud-based application platform. He is experienced in applying AI to unlock value from digital technologies for both passenger and freight transport operators, as well as data collection and transmission to cybersecure cloud environments for analytics and the creation of actionable insights for value realization. Through the innovative use of data and AI, Simon improved operational efficiency, safety, and brought predictive elements to transit organizations.

In his current role, Simon is responsible for identifying opportunities that help our Transportation clients unlock faster, smarter and better outcomes through the adoption of the latest techniques in digital delivery practices, digital consulting and Digital AECOM products.
